![]() ![]() ![]() Why, because they are not fighters, they are not aggressors in general they are not even confident if truth be told – they need help. ![]() When an ultimatum is sent to a bunch of were outcast by the local wolf pack alpha, they have no idea what to do. It's the first in the series though so hopefully the author will add more layers to broaden the overall plot with characters that I can believe in. Plus it's all wrapped up quickly and neatly so I'm left unsure of how to rate this one. ![]() For me it was a conundrum and as much as I wanted to like this book I just felt it lacked chemistry. As much as I liked that Sugar is such a good friend of the Pack next door I just couldn't really understand why a Vampire as seemingly powerful as Daedalus would agree to train the Omegas. This story is a romance though and its Sugar and Daedalus who dominate. The neighbour is Sugar, the Werewolves are the Omegas and the Vampire is Daedalus who is there to teach the Weres how to stand up for themselves ! So not exactly what I expected although I did enjoy reading about how those Wolves who are perhaps less aggressive could band together. A quick almost quirky read from this author that introduces a Werewolf Pack, a Vampire and their human neighbour. ![]()
